Come enjoy a summer family night on the farm. Bring your picnic blanket, lawn chairs and pillows and plan to cozy in on the front lawn for an outside viewing of family films. Well supply the popcorn! In case of rain, well show the film in Stratfords Big Room.

Join us for the 35th Annual Music in the Valley Celebration at Hale Farm & Village, presented in concert with Folknet. Bring a chair, bring your family, and make a day of listening to music throughout the grounds at Hale Farm & Village.

Admission is $10 adults/seniors. $5 children (age 3-12).
Western Reserve Historical Society Members and children 2 & under are FREE.

Jul. 12, 2010 to Jul. 12, 2010 | Behavior Management Strategies for Toilet Training Individuals with Autism
10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This is a 2 1/2 hour training with an additional 3 hours of individualized consultation. The workshop will provide parents and professionals with strategies for developing a toilet training program for home and/or school settings. At the end of the workshop, participants will understand how to develop and implement a toileting program. Autism Workshop
Topics will include:
* Toileting readiness
* Reinforcement
* Schedules
* Data collection
Behavior management techniques that may support an individual's success with toileting will also be discussed.
During the on-site consultation, behavior consultants will assist in implementing the techniques that were learned at the workshop including setting up toileting schedules and utilizing reinforcement.

Parents will be encouraged to rediscover their sense of wonder as they walk side-by-side with their little explorer. Treat you and your little one to a week together on the farm that you won't soon forget.

Carriages in the Park, presented by the Ohio Combined Driving Event (CDE) is a carriage driving competition for pleasure drivers and competitors. The event features a special Saturday evening program in the museums exhibit of 19th century carriages, a cones demonstration, and a parade through the historic Village at Hale Farm.
